Easy setup, quick internet

Just got the Home Broadband from Quickline. It was pretty easy to get it installed, didn't take too long. The internet has been fast enough for streaming and working from home, no complaints there. I got the first three months free, which was a good deal. Definitely happy with it so far.

Good service, minor speed hiccup

I signed up for the Ultrafast Broadband plan and the installation was free, which was a nice bonus. The technician was on time and got everything set up quickly. For the most part, the speeds have been consistent with what was advertised. My only minor complaint is that there was one evening where the connection felt a bit slower than usual, but it resolved itself by morning. Customer service was helpful when I called about it, though.

Reliable as always

This is my third time using Quickline, this time for their Full Fibre Broadband. I switched from my old Superfast plan because fiber became available in my village. Just like my previous experiences, the service was reliable. The signup process was straightforward, and the switch credit made it even easier. I didn't have to deal with any downtime during the transition, which was a huge plus. They've always been consistent with their speeds and customer support.

Fast internet, great support!

I got the Fixed Wireless Access for my house in the countryside and it's been fantastic! The speeds are so much better than what I had before, and the setup was surprisingly quick. Had a small question about my router settings and their tech support was super knowledgeable and friendly. Seriously impressed with how smooth everything went, will definitely tell my friends who struggle with rural internet!

Heard about a refer a friend thing. How do I actually get the reward if my friend signs up? Is it a code or something?

L Leah Hall 6 days ago
It's a specific link your friend has to use. No codes to type in. Make sure they use your link!

Nah, no promo code box. You get a unique link from your account, and when your friend signs up through that, it registers. I got a £50 credit after my brother joined up.

How long does it usually take for them to install the full fibre connection? From signing up to actually having internet.

O Olivia Allen 2 weeks ago
Mine was about 2 weeks from when I ordered to getting it live. Depends on if they need to dig up the street or not.

They give you an estimate when you sign up. For me, it was pretty quick, like 10 days, but I guess it varies depending on how much work is needed at your specific house.

Is Quickline even available in like, really remote spots? I'm way out in the sticks near Malton.

S Sofia T. 1 month ago
That's their whole thing! They're specifically for rural areas. Just put your postcode in on their site, it'll tell you for sure.

Yeah, if anyone's gonna be there, it's probably them or Gigaclear. My mate in a tiny village uses Quickline.

Does Quickline give you a router, or do I need to buy my own for their fibre plans?

A Amber Jackson 4 weeks ago
They send you one. It's usually pretty decent, no need to get your own unless you're super particular.

Yep, comes with the installation. It's a Wi-Fi 6 one if you get their full fibre, worked fine for me.

Anyone know if Quickline is better than KCOM for speed and reliability, especially for gaming?

L Leah J. 1 month ago
For rural areas, Quickline is generally seen as more reliable than KCOM. KCOM can be a bit hit or miss outside the main city. Quickline's full fibre is solid for gaming, low latency.

I switched from KCOM to Quickline and haven't looked back. Much more stable connection, especially when everyone's home. KCOM was fine in town but out here, Quickline crushes it.
